What drives SiRah

Why

Semiconductors shape every industry, and their ecosystem is complex. We make that complexity transparent, so companies, governments and investors can decide with confidence.

Mission

We design the business paths and partnerships that take semiconductor technology into new markets, and bring the right people to the table to make them real.

Vision

Semiconductor technology finds its way into every market, every region and every industry.

Experience

The work behind SiRah.

Technology and global leadership

Leading a global medical technology business

Selma led the global business with one of the world’s largest medical technology companies, heading a global team. The largest programmes were in advanced medical imaging, including MRI, PET and SPECT systems. She drove negotiations and decisions on both sides, including major internal R&D investment in imaging ASICs. When severe supply shortages hit, she led the response, mobilising both organisations and managing the escalations. The relationship came out of it considerably stronger.

Complex programme execution

Recovering a time-critical automotive programme

For one of the world’s largest automotive Tier 1 suppliers, an existing solution failed late in a customer programme while the alternative was still in development. Selma coordinated global teams and customer communication across the supply chain. The required sample milestone was reached, followed by continued collaboration through series release.

Commercial growth and strategic channels

Building a direct EMS partner business

Selma developed a direct business structure with EMS partners, connecting commercial relationships and contractual arrangements with data flows, system links and technical support. The work shortened decision paths and increased visibility across the business chain.

Ecosystem development

Opening a country’s semiconductor ecosystem to international partners

For an international industry alliance, Selma led a delegation programme to a country building its semiconductor capability. She brought together the CEOs of the country’s leading semiconductor companies, its leading universities and senior government representatives, organised a university event with the national industry association, and developed an executive roundtable with a leading European semiconductor research institute and global semiconductor companies.

How we work

Start with one decision you need to make. Engage us at the step where support is needed.

Your first assignment focuses on a specific opportunity and a defined next decision. We agree what needs to be answered, the work involved, the outputs, timing and fee before work begins.

01 Clarify the decision Define the objective, available evidence, people involved and the consequences of unresolved questions.
02 Develop the way forward Work through the options, test assumptions and agree which dependencies and decisions matter next.
03 Negotiate and prepare Bring the relevant parties together, work through commercial conditions and establish responsibilities.
04 Support implementation Where agreed, coordinate milestones and handovers, track issues and keep decisions visible.

Principles

Directly with Selma

You work with the founder on every assignment. Specialist contributions are defined around the needs of the work.

Conflicts avoided and disclosed

We work for one client per competitive space, and disclose any potential conflict before an assignment begins.

Outputs, not hours

Every assignment has defined outputs, timing and a fee agreed before work begins.

Confidentiality first

Client names are shared only with their approval. Every case we describe is anonymised.

FAQ

Questions before we start.

How does an engagement start?

With an intro call about the opportunity and the decision ahead. If a SiRah assignment fits, we agree the question, the work involved, the outputs, timing and fee before work begins.

How do you charge?

For defined outputs. Each assignment has a scope, timing and fee agreed in advance.

Do you work with competitors?

We work for one client per competitive space and disclose any potential conflict before an assignment begins.

Who does the work?

You work directly with Selma on the agreed assignment. Where the work needs specialist contributions, they are defined around it and agreed with you.

How do you handle confidentiality?

Confidentiality is the basis of our work. Client names are shared only with their approval, and we are happy to sign a mutual NDA before sensitive details are shared. For a first conversation, an outline of the opportunity is enough.

What do you focus on?

Strategy, market entry, business development and sales, working alongside your specialist teams. For funding programmes, we prepare the strategic groundwork and work alongside the specialists who write the proposal.

What is the decision ahead of you?

One opportunity. A clear next decision. Directly with Selma.
